Enclosed you will find a current price overview* as of March 2023 (net) for private illustrations
small illustration €70.00 * (everything under Din A4)
large illustration DIN A4 from 130 € * (2 hours minimum)

For several illustrations e.g. for books etc. please write to me so that I can create an individual offer. The prices are made up of how many illustrations you need for your book, how detailed the images are and what usage rights you need.
How long does it take to finish a single illustration?
Small simple illustrations take a day. The others 1 - 2 weeks depending on the effort.

Is a free sketch possible?
Unfortunately that is not possible. I am happy to make a sketch for 35€ to help you decide.
How does a collaboration on a book work?
If there is an order, I need the finished manuscript (does not have to be edited) (or in the case of books with a lot of text, the specifications for the pictures to be drawn) and all information about the pictures that are to be illustrated. First b/w sketches (drafts) are created and then changes are made in the first stage of correction. When the sketches are approved, the final colored illustrations are made based on the drafts. When the illustrations are finished, small changes can still be made in the second correction phase.
Do I offer a layout for a book?

Do I also offer proofreading?
No
What usage rights do I offer? Or are included?
You always getincludedthe possibility to publish the book as a self-publisher via e.g. BOD, or tredition or similar platforms. The same applies if the book is only used privately at first. A surcharge is only required for commercial use (i.e. very extensive use, such as with merchandising, etc.).
Depending on the scope of your planned use, I will create a suitable offer.
Which data formats are offered?
All data is submitted as a PDF (ready-to-print book file) and the illustrations as a JPEG in 300dpi. Alternatively, PNG is also possible, or a combined PSD by arrangement.
Is it also possible to work for free in return for a bonus or participation?
No, I do not offer free work.
Can we also make a phone call?
YES
We can also get to know each other via Zoom and other channels. We are happy to arrange the first non-binding interview of 30 minutes. You are welcome to ask general questions about my work and the process and we can get to know each other.
For additional digital consultation hours or professional advice, €50 will be charged for 60 minutes or €25 for 30 minutes.
Please note that the order is in writing and that consultations/feedback etc. are not handled over the phone/Zoom or purely verbally.
How long does it take to finish book illustrations?
That is very different. Usually between 5-20 weeks depending on the size of the order
